Hi,
Ali M1541 chipset based motherboard like ASUS P5A/B, do not have UDMA
driver included in the 2.2 series as yet. If u want to use UDMA features
on the Ali, either use the 2.3 series or get the UDMA patch from a
kernel mirror site. The patch is called
2.2.12.uniform-ide-6.20.hydra.patch.
I haven't had any problems as yet !
