Hi Anand and Goswami,
WEhy dont you guys install kwdial from www.freshmeat.net.Its simple to
use and works just like your dial up networking with hardly any cranky
configuration hassles
My answer may not be the solution to your problems but it can be a
better way to get net acces via linux
