We have been using Samba for a long time. The current version is 2.0.3.8 on RHL 6.0. The security level is set to user level. On win95 clients, I have set access controls to user level & rebooted the machine. However, on the sharing, the list of users does not come up. The message displayed is you can not view the user list at this time. Try later. The doc which relates to 1.9.X say the problem will be taken care off in 2.0.X. This still remains in 2.0.5a. Any hints on the Samba which allows the user level access permissions to win clients.
