Subject: [LI] compiling pine 4.21
>
> Or better still, download the pine rpm (search rpmfind.net for this).
The Pine 4.21 rpm available on rpmfind is for SUSE 6.3; the rpm for RHL is
4.1. I tried loading that (rpm of pine 4.21 for SUSE) on my RHL 6.1 but it
gave some error mentioning it needed pine 4.1 which I already have on my
system !!
Should I just delete pine 4.1 and load SUSE pine 4.21 ? would cross distro
rpm's give a problem ? I know that a lot of the problem with SIS cards on
RHL is solved using the SUSE sis rpm.
Thanx,
Sharukh.
