kedar-> We have a HP-5000 laser printer here. It has an ethernet port and
kedar->supports lpd style remote printing.
kedar->was coolly able to print to them by giving the queue name as "raw" or
kedar->"passthru".
kedar-> Whatever I do (setting printer by hand in /etc/printcap as I
kedar->have always done or using RH control panel or linuxconf whatever) my jobs
kedar->just stay queued up on my local spool directory, and never go out to the
kedar->printer.

Here is our printcap on RH 6.0 this seems to working fine
most of the times:)
Printer is HP-5000 N
