AFAIK,
there is a text based mail client to see messgs using POP3. Called MH (Message
Handler). Originally by RAND corp, now its maintained by Univ. of Calif at
Irvine.
Can obtain the tar from
ftp.ics.uci.edu/pub/mh
quite old one... donno any new stuff...
