Hi,

I must tell you that the Linux-IrDA pages will soon move to the server of
the Pasta project (http://www.pasta.cs.uit.no). I'm now back in Norway
(again), and since I am funded by the Norwegian Research Council (NFR), I
have to reflect this in the work I'm doing. You have probably already
noticed that the mailing-list has moved to the Pasta server.

This means that the Linux-IrDA project (that I started) will now be visible
as a subproject of the Pasta project. The project will however stay the
same, and still be as open as it has always been. Nothing will change! The
(new) code will still be free, everybody can contribute, and I will make
new releases as often as possible.

The story is simple. They are paying my salary, and they should get some
credit for the things I'm doing. The Linux-IrDA project (or at least
everything I have done for Linux-IrDA) is actually a project funded by
NFR. The project has been very experimental and also very interesting for
me, but now I will start to make use of it for different research
activites. Linux-IrDA has grown, and is now a well known project, so I just
have to do this changes before someone starts asking questions. The
Linux-IrDA effort will however continue with full speed as before ;-)

The changes will take place as soon as I have got familiar with the Web
Meta Language (WML) for "programming" web-pages ;-)
