Hi

I'm sending data between linux and palmpilot with IrOBEX and I would like
to control the discovery behaviour a bit.

I need to make the linux box stop sending the hint messages all the time
because that makes the palm put up a "waiting for sender" window that gets
focus, I'd like the ir-driver just to listen and then send the hint
message when another devices tries to find it.

Then I need to force a discovery at the moment I really want to
send data to the palm and then choose a device to send to from the
discovery list.

Does anyone know if this is at all possible?

I also have another problem: when I have sent data from the linuxbox and
disconnects, it seems like the driver is waiting for something for a few
seconds before the ir device can be used again. The irdadump util output
at that time is attached below (where can I find info on the meaning of
the output?).

I'd be most greatful for some help.

btw, does it exist any documentation for irda programming?

/tomas
