Hi,

I am trying to backup my Nokia 9110 using nserver-0.0.5 (available from:
http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~syrinx/nserver/index.html) via the IrDA
connection without much success at the moment. I was wondering if anyone
out there had any luck with this?? I am using kernel 2.2.12 and the irda3
patch.

The funny thing is that above kernel works fine with the 9110 as long as I
use the 9110 in the Fax/Modem mode (via IrDA). I can do PPP (and/or plain
terminal access using Kermit) at 115200bps, N81, rts/cts without any
problems.. Furthermore, Nserver-0.0.5 works fine over the normal serial
port also. So it's just a combination of these two factors that breaks
thinghs.

It's only when I compile the Nserver to go to /dev/ircomm @ 19200bps or
9600bps that I get problems. The Nokia 9110 backup sessions starts OK but
hangs half way through. When I exit the nserver it segfaults. I suspect a
problem with Nserver, HOWEVER, there is a kernel message which (to my
innocent eyes) looks as if something is possibly wrong with IrDA also..

The message is as follows:
