No success :-(

Also no success !

Thats my major problem. Perhaps you know that the Newton is no longer
in production, and there are no informations about the used ired
protocol available.
There is a success story available on the web, where someone gots it
running with a Palm connection software on a Mac:
http://misf67.cern.ch/~steve/sloup/connect.htm#IrDA
That looks that the Newton uses the IrOBEX protocol.
I tried to set up the IrOBEX protocol as descibed in the Linux IR Howto:
http://metalab.unc.edu/mdw/HOWTO/IR-HOWTO-6.html#ss6.3,
but what is "load_misc irobex" ????
Is that a mistyping and he means insmod ? And unfortunately I cannot find a
module "irobex.o" in my modules directory.
Do you have some better informations how to set up the IrOBEX protocol ?
Reinhold
