Ok.  I had planned to take a look at how the WinBond 83977 driver works, and
use that as some sort of template.  Is this all wrong, should I instead sit
back and wait for your progress or is there another driver I should take a
look at to learn the workings of the new irport?
(Or maybe I should just look at irport itself, but before I had learned the
way anything worked, you'd be done with the SMC driver and a bunch others
as well..  :)
