No, I'm asking about the dongle auto-loading feature. The
Howto still says that you need to load dongle by hand (chapter 5.3)
and don't mention this feature.
Moreover, the dongle id number seems to be hardcoded in
irattach, but I don't know how stable are those numbers...

As you can see, I now have most things working. Irdaping still
refuse to be my friend, but as other things are working...

The trouble is that you change things faster than the Howto
can absobe them, and documentation is critical for idiots. One of
these day, you should read the Howto and send a diff to Werner. He is
doing a good job but can't know all the things that are in your head.

I've talk to a friend who is kind of knowledgeable about
WinCE. He told me that Win95 <-> WinCE won't work, because there is
some incompatibility down the line. You need to use Win98, and with
Win98 it works like a charm.
So, either upgrade your PC to Win98, or you download v3.0 of
the stack. See chapter 6.9 of the Howto for details (I told you that
you should read the Howto...).
It's like Linux-IrDA, you should always work with the bleeding
edge version, because the bug has just been corrected...
