Hmm, I did this trick, so that they kernel wouldn't need to know anything
about dongles. The only thing that needs to be hardcoded, is that each
dongle needs to know its number, espesially if compiled into the
kernel. This is the same way that compressors etc work in the kernel. In
2.2 the kernel needed to know the name of the dongle, which was not a good
thing.

That is a very good suggestion! I'll see what I can do about it!

Not a problem for me, but for my wife. They are using Win95 at the place
she work, and they don't want to upgrade their machine (with all the
problems that way bring), just because IrDA won't work. Win95 is also so
unstable, that I really don't want to mess more with it. I might get IrDA
working, but then some other thing might brake. You suddenly get these
exceptions in some dll you have never heard about before, and then you have
to reinstall the whole system. Think I'll wait until they decide to upgrade
their system.
