If got a siemens S25 working with irda more or less because
ppp doesn't talk to the ircomm device? does any of you know
a cure for this? I use irda from the 2.2.13 kernel with no
patches this because toshoboe is broken in the patched
versions (??) irda utils are 0.9.4 and ppp is 2.3.10 running
on slackware 7.
the logs show ppp0 <--> /dev/ircomm and then the line keeps up
but the ppp0 interface does not come up, and a strace off the
pppd process loops with these messages:
