Hi,
I use:
- Mandrake 2.2.15-0.7mdk kernel (self compiled, all irda modules on)
- irda utils 3.9.9
- with a Thinkpad 240 , the irda serial is ttyS1
- pilot IIIx with OS 3.3
I do irattach irattach /dev/ttyS1 via drivers file, start irda with an
init script (irmanager)

the pilot pops up a windows saying "waiting for sender" or something.
I do pilot-xfer -p /dev/irdacomm0 or irdacomm1 or ttyS1
nothing happens. only irdadump gives this:
