Hi,
I'm using a new Compaq Armada V300 with a SMC IrCC Chipset (chipid 0xf2)

I've managed to get it to work using the io values given on this mailing
list by Roberto Drebes,

static unsigned int io[] = { 0x100, 0x140, 0x118, 0x240 };
static unsigned int io2[] = { 0x3e8, 0x3e8, 0x2e8, 0x3e8 };

It detected finely, and i found out that i must start the hardware in
the following order so it won't
mess around with irq's:

1- IrDA
2- pcmcia services (using a Longshine Ethernet card)
3- Serial

However, everything seems fine, irdadump detects both the Nokia 7110 and
the Palm,
the palm shows the "Waiting for sender" irObex message but /dev/ircomm0
only works
with the nokia, although i haven't yet tested ppp through it, it
successfully responds to AT commands.

I've managed to use pilot-xfer with the pilot but only once, being every
condition the same i don't know
what could be messing around so i cannot get it to work all the time, in
the log it appears an
"IrLAP, no activity on link!" sometimes.
Also, when i managed to get the pilot to connect, it was at 9600 and
switching to 115200 it stopped working.

I'm using kernel 2.2.15pre6 as suggested by Dag Brattli and irda-tools
0.9.9.
