Hello:
I recently went shopping for components to build an IR reciever for
LiRC and ran by an "Options by IBM" ISA IrDA Adapter(SIR). I was
wondering if anyone had any information about this board. It appears to
have a Z80 on it and it comes with some funk IBM DOS drivers, which made
my nervous as to whether or not it was a serial port or something
proprietary. The store where I found it(HSC in Sunnyvale, CA) has about
20 of these and they cost about $20 each. Is this a purchase I should
make?
