Strange. My phone loses the link if I use nocrtscts - using crtscts I get a
stable link (when I can get the irda to work - see the 2.2.15pre15 message)

I have actually managed to get 1K/sec...

Depending on your ISP... asyncmap 0

I also use: lcp-echo-interval 10 lcp-echo-failure 3 bsdcomp 0 deflate 0

(the echo thing kills my link if it fails and the computer otbherwise fails
to notice. Compression disabled since it's not supported by my ISP)
