Hi,
Can't make girbil to work with Nokia 7110 (the only other IR device I have).
It is connected to com1 on Abit BP6. Serial driver works prefectly, I tested the modem
on this port before.
That's what I do from console:
# modprobe irda
# modprobe irlan
# modprobe ircomm
# modprobe irtty
# irattach /dev/ttyS0 -d girbil -s 1
1.1 Tue Nov 9 15:30:55 1999 Dag Brattli
The IR transmitter led and green recv led doesn't go on at all.
# lsmod | grep ir
girbil 1216 1 (autoclean)

irmanager -d 1 (with irattach in /etc/irda/drivers) doesn't work as well. rmmod serial
&& modprobe irport && dongle_attach doesn't work too ;(
The dondle works prefectly with 7110 under Win98 on the same port and computer. Please
help.
