I can now repeat this reasonaly often. If I use minicom, to get
"good" performance I must start minicom, wait a couple of seconds, and then
activate the ir modem on the phone. Activating the phone first gives
bad performance every time.
Looking in /proc/net/irda/irlmp a very noticeable difference in these
circumstances is in:
Connected LSAPs:
lsap state: LSAP_DATA_TRANSFER_READY, slsap_sel: 0x23, dlsap_sel: 0x3, (IrCOMM)
lsap state: LSAP_DATA_TRANSFER_READY, slsap_sel: 0x0, dlsap_sel: 0x1, (IrIAS srv)
Where the second (IrIAS) line is absent when the throughput is bad and
present when it is good.
Does this mean something to anyone?
