Okay, folks, got an odd one for you here. On my i486 laptop, that setup works fine. Exactly the same setup on my K6-2/450 desktop machine and it doesn't want to play ball. The dongle won't initialise. The computer thinks it has, but it doesn't react to my cellphone.
