Hi,
after using an ESI JetEye serial dongle for Palm communication very
sucessfully (which I had for testing, it's highly recommended for
its transfer activity LED but a bit pricey), I also managed to get
jpilot to sync via an Actisys 210L dongle hooked up to the IR
connector of my Asus P5A mainboard.
But problems arise for longer transfers, i.e. a Palm backup, during
which the IR connection freezes.
This used to work just fine with the JetEye serial dongle on
/dev/ttyS1 and I suspect there now might be a conflict with COM1,
as the modem on /dev/ttyS0 is not accessible (device in use) while
irattach is running on /dev/ttyS2.
Ideas, anybody ?
