Hi,

I'm still trying to get irlan to work between two machines as previously
mentioned in my email (Subject: [Linux-IrDA]A Few Newbie Questions.) I
now, after some trouble, have kernel 2.2.16 running on both my desktop
(ActiSYS ir210l mobo adapter SIR mode) and my laptop (HP Omnibook 2100
built in IR dongle running in SIR mode) both systems are using
irda-utils-0.9.10.

I have followed things pretty much as in:

But I now keep getting in my syslog :

I also get something *very* similar on my laptop. I have also increased
the debug level (echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/irda/debug)

To check that IR was working on both machines I have tried irdapinging
each address found from the discovery log and can successfully do that!

The modules I have loaded are :

Module Size Used by
irlan 37216 1
irtty 7524 2 (autoclean)
irda 140833 1 (autoclean) [irlan irtty]
es1370 26612 0 (autoclean)
soundcore 3012 4 (autoclean) [es1370]
3c59x 20000 1 (autoclean)
serial 19444 1 (autoclean)
agpgart 11320 0 (unused)

and I have the irlan0 interface configured as follows:

irda0 Link encap:IrLAP HWaddr 6f:f9:4f:3f
          UP RUNNING NOARP MTU:2048 Metric:1
          RX packets:1011 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:2059 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:8

irlan0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:00:00:00:00:00
          inet addr:192.168.1.1 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:0

Any ideas would be real appreciated, sorry for sending such a huge dump
of my logs but hopefully it will help someone shed some light on my
problem!

Thanks

Neil
