Yes, I am. Look at the Obex manual for the S25 for details (you can find it
somewhere on the Siemens Website).

I didn't get the chance to try this since I don't have access to a second S25.

The problem was that the irobex_palm3 uses the file extension to determine
the file type. Since I used a file named "Vcal.1" this did not work.
I renamed the file to "Vcal.vcs" and it works. On top of the
obex_put_common.h file you can see which file types are supported.
