Hmm. I guess I'm responsible for that. I was hunting a mem-leak in af_irda
and since Dag was not home I decided to mail Alan Cox with some questions.
I my mail I wrote that "this seems to make things work on my machine, but is
it correct?" and I had added the sock_put to af_irda.c and the next thing I
knew it was in 2.2.17pre16.
