Matt,
I got the Pilot/Linux IrDA link working with RedHat 6.1. However, I had to apply
the patch that was appropriate to the kernel. I'm nearly certain the same is
true for 6.0. I also upgraded my kernel to 2.4 and had no problems with IrDA
there (after applying Jean's (sp) patch). I can give you more specifics once I
get back in town. Meanwhile, if someone else doesn't help first, don't give up
hope!

BTW, Upgrading the kernel is relatively painless. You can still keep the old
kernel image around and boot off that if necessary. I've got 4 kernel images
that are different in one way or another.
