[Linux-IrDA]girbil

Has anyone got the girbil working recently? I havent had any success since,
oh about 2.2.14 or so. Currently the built in irda (SIR) on my laptop is
fine, with 2.4.0-pre11, irda-utils-0.9.13, but if I try
irattach /dev/ttyS0 -d girbil -s I just get a tcsetattr: Invalid argument 
error in the log, and then am unable to remove the girbil module.
