Just a successful report from a very happy karma owner : With libkarma-0.0.5, banshee cvs and the patch from Bob (http://bobcopeland.com/karma/banshee/banshee-add-rio-karma-0.7.patch) you can now : - stream the tunes from your karma in Banshee - Banshee displays correctly the available space on the karma - copy/ tracks of your Banshee library, individually, to/from the karma
I still haven't tried the global synchronization of Karma/Banshee library since 20 Gb won't be enough... I know this Banshee plugin is just the tip of the iceberg and doesn't reflect all the good work done by the developers but from my end-user point of view, it's just become as convenient as it could be. A few remarks : *lkarmafs-0.1.8 : I still haven't been able to remove tracks in the fuse directories using rmTune or rm OggMP3s (what's the difference anyway ?) deleting Podcast.mp3 ... rm: cannot remove `Podcast.mp3/taxi/tmpLkfsUpldToDelete.19610': Not a directory You can remove those files manually from the taxi/ dir though *power consumption My karma drains its battery when using the USB connection *with* the DC adapter in. Is that normal ? *automount and friends Has someone already tried to automount the karma ? I might try to look into it otherwise.
