I've tested it now (libkarmaHg105):
- The USB/Ethernet inconsistent bug seems fixed. Thanks!
However I still (consistently) get: "* Libkarma warning:
missing fid properties"
- The management of the path DB (__libkarma_fdb__.gz) seems now
correct to me (may be my previous tests were wrong...)
- The computer info is correctly inserted. Thanks!
- The Ethernet troubles persist; have gone even worst:
* Libkarma warning: missing fid properties
* Libkarma warning: failed request
** Libkarma error: write_file_chunk() failed
** Libkarma error: broken Rio header
lk_karma_release_io_lock: failed
* 'riocp -s type=taxi -u %t' doesn't show __libkarma_fdb__.gz
Neither it appears in ~/openrio/*/fileinfo (OK with USB)
* (very strange!) 'riocp -s type=taxi -u %t | less' or even
'riocp -s type=taxi -u %t > out.txt' yields nothing, but
direct output to the terminal is O.K.
I'll try to see if I can find out what has got broken here ...
Regarding the computer info, hostnames could be concatenated with
the pathnames with ':' rather than " ". This way each string
could be directly interpreted as a Net address.
Best,
EV.
