Thanks for the bug report.  This sounds familiar - there's long been a bug
with empty Karmas that I thought had been fixed in mercurial.  I see from
your HOWTO that you're using Joe's debs which should be somewhat up to
date.
I'll try out this out tonight and see what happens.


Were you able to reproduce it? If not, I don't have so much music on my
Karma currently and would be glad to help out by - say - handing you the
traces you need to diagnose it.

That would be great! I already linked back to your howto, since that's where
I found much of the information. I think the results of running this how to
is great - plug'n'play Karma for Linux with a much better music manager than
RMM.
