.config file

Bonjour,   Quelqu'un sait-il si il y a un moyen de reconstruire le fichier .config après une install depuis une distro ? En effet, apres une install standard, aucun fichier .config existe sous /usr/src/linux. Le but est de pouvoir lancer make xconfig afin de retrouver la configuration existante et non la configuration par défaut ...   Merci
