I was even able to watch the Q3 Wassup Flash clip, but where can I
configure its sound? The clip ended up being a silent film, it only
became amusing when my & my daughter did the voices! :-D

Hello,
I too am looking for a way to secure FTP. I myself would prefer my users to
use the FTP programs of their choice (this helps to keep everyone happy.)
I found this program/URL, but I don't know much of it, and I haven't set it
up yet.

SSLftp
ftp://ftp.psy.uq.oz.au/pub/Crypto/SSLapps/

Again, I don't know if this will work or not as I have not used it before.

Hi, everybody
I (Poor Boy) am a new linux user . I have problem in getting
linux modem driver.
Can you tell where to find linux driver .
Besides , how to configure linux so as to allow me to connect to
the internet.
Moreover, I can't listen music in linux as I don't know where to
find my sound card driver and how to configure the sound card.

thanks,
Linuxlover

The order of running these is "ASCII-collating-sequence", as they
are called with a "*" wild-card. So, yes, by manipulating the
numbers after the "K" or "S", you can affect sequence of execution;
(take a look at the "rc" script, which controls all this).

Perhaps the easiest way to manage this is to use ntsysv (text-based) or
tksysv (X-based).

(I get rather nostalgic when I think of the simplicity of the BSD init
scripts, which is why I still have a couple of machines with Slackware
on them.)

Go to www.linuxnewbie.org. Your questions will be answered.

: linux modem driver.

You don't need one. Modems don't have drivers. They connect to the
serial port and accept and transmit characters to/from it.

: Can you tell where to find linux driver .
: Besides , how to configure linux so as to allow me to connect to

Depends what your connection is. I use a NIC. You may need a dialup
line to a modem at your ISP. Or an isdn line to your teleco.

: Moreover, I can't listen music in linux as I don't know where to
: find my sound card driver and how to configure the sound card.

I really think you had better find out then ... go to linuxnewbie.org.

Consult Homepages of ASUS and AMD, and look, which soundchips are build
into the AMD 75(0|1) Chipset, u use.

With $20,000 I could set up a home network, (I've already done it with a
peer to peer for less than $1,000), and start my own business building an
maintaining PCs. Then I could work for myself without the certs.

Sould be. Could also be a problem with the okidata. Just because they

It converts fine. I use the ljet3 driver, ( and have also used the

If you try to print the tiger.ps page, does it print?

So, if it is a PCL printer, choose say the ljet3 driver from ghostscript

Just a follow up: Kingston Memory (www.kingston.com) lists 4MB upgrade
for the 810e at $23 MSRP. I am almost certain this is standard Simm
memory, which you can pick up from your local computer store
