You mentioned that your program generates a report
for a 5 minutes, which seems to be unreasonably
long. Is it so also in a pure dos, or such a slowdown
is dosemu-specific?
If it is dosemu-specific, then you should try to
increase a $_hogthreshold value to make a faster
processing, so you will probably not trigger a
timeout then.
