  I haven't noticed anything yet.

It was Norton Commander's & vlm's strange bug:
Norton works without vlm, and dosemu not hangs if vlm
is loaded but Norton not running. If Norton is running
while vlm was loaded, dosemu hangs. Screensaver in Norton
 Commander is disabled =).
$_hogthreshold have no matter in this case.

FoxPro (foxprox.exe, DPMI version) falls even without
vlm. Real-mode foxpro.exe works well. How to crash:

  1. I start FoxPro (foxprox.exe), type 'quit'.
  2. Start again, type 'quit'.
  3. While quiting dosemu crashes.

I've found that my applications works with foxpro.exe too,
so this problem is closed. But DPMI part of dosemu seems to
be not very stable (I tried with FreeDOS, DR-DOS and PC-DOS).

  No difference found.
