Help!!! I am trying to connect via modem to internet using 'ppp-go'. I went through 'pppsetup' and everything went ok. However, when I connect to my ISP I try to login (PAP) and these are the last lines I get in the 'messages' file... using interface ppp0 Connect ppp0 <--> /dev/cua1 What's wrong here. I am using Slackware 3.5 and have gone through my 'resolv.conf' and 'host.conf' files. This is what my 'options' file looks like... lock defaultroute noipdefault modem /dev/cua1 115200 crtscts passive asyncmap 0 ipcp-accept-local ipcp-accept-remote name "leo" I know I must be missing something. What about 'pap-secrets'? I have been successful before, thanks to someone answering this question in the past. I hope someone can help me again. I promise to write this stuff down!!! -Leo - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-net" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
