This is a device driver watchdog timer claiming that the card stopped
working.
What card and driver version are you using?
This can usually be fixed by getting an updated driver.
A temporary work-around is shutdown and restart the interface
ifconfig eth0 down; ifconfig eth0 up
Don't forget to also restore the routes.
