this question's been floating around comp.os.linux.networking for awhile. Also, anyone know of any decent resources regarding setting up eql for linux (aside from /usr/src/linux/drivers/net/README.eql)?
Hi, I asked the following question to several ISPs offering 'Multilink PPP (MP)' service: >Hello, > >I am wondering if your 'Shotgun' service is the >equivalent of 'EQL' (multiple line traffice equaliser) >under Linux. Do you know if dual ppp connection to >your company's modem is possible using Linux from home? And I received one response so far: >Its my understanding that the Multilink Protocol was developed >by Microsoft. I doubt that it would be compatible or equivalent >to EQL. >---------------- >Internet Tech Support >tel:// +1 619 458.0490 >email:// [EMAIL PROTECTED] >fax:// +1 619 450.0567 >http://www.aplus.net - Your Total Internet Provider >http://www.websolo.com - Cost Efficient Web Hosting Solutions >http://www.fiberia.com - Free Web-Based E-mail Should I conclude that I can not connect to ISPs offering MP service from Linux using EQL, but only from Windows? Any response is appreciated. Thank you, Kaz
