hi .

i am facing some problem in configuration of eth0. right now,
i am using linux with kernel version 2.1.112. There is only one card i am
using 3com Fast EtherLink XL adapter (3C905).whenever i tried to run the
network start|stop script ..it gives me a error of delaying eth0
initilization..

        i tired the following changes:

   " insmod 3c59x.o debug=1 options=0,,12"

--> this option didn't work well!

but when i tried:

  " insmod 3c59x.o debug=1 options=0,,8"
--> this works FINE! but whenever i reboot , the changes disappear and
again i have to make the changes manually ..

By the way the options are

  possible media type settings

        8 Full -dulplex bit

                  8 10base T full duplex.
                  12 100base Tx full duplex.

HOW and WHERE do i save the settings??????????

Thanks!

regards
rupesh
