I use following, my 'eth1' is 3c905B with a cross-over cable to another
machine with same card. (0.99G+some memory management patches)
The usual link capability autodetection does not work on this kind
point-to-point links.
$ more /etc/conf.modules
alias eth1 3c59x
alias eth2 3c59x
options 3c59x options=034,07 full_duplex=1,0
