ethernet card

Hi
Is Compex RL2000A  a Ne2000 clone?
I associated ne module for this giving irq and io but at the boot time
after finding the card
it is not giving message -Delaying eth0 initialization.
I am using REDHAT 4.2. ver 2.0.30
What shall I do now to bring that pc on network.
