I've tried to setup an FTP server on my machine and can't get it working
properly. I'm using RedHat 5.2, kernel 2.0.36.

In the man (ftpaccess) pages it says that the directory in passwd should be
newroot/./home I've tried this with no luck. They also have the shell as
/etc/ftponly. I don't have this file.

The relevant part of my ftpaccess file are as follows:

class   all   real  *
deny    anonymous,guest /etc/ftp/ftpdeny.txt
limit   all 6

noretrieve passwd passwd- core

I DON'T want anonymous ftp. Just a general myftp account that I can change
the root to /tmp/ftp or something like that for increased security.

Thanks.
