mail configuration problem

Hi,

How can I tell the unix mail command to replace the sender name
"myname@localhost" by another address "othername@otherhost" in  all the
messages I send.

I tried to turn Masquerading on in sendmail  but for some reason it
doesn't work. Is there a simpler way to do it  with the mailrc  or
procmailrc files for example?
