Ola Martin,
a very popular NAT is the "NAPT" kind, which is also known as
"Masquerading". Linux 2.0.3x already supports Masquerading, and you can
use it with ipfwadm or with the new firewalling code called "ipchains".
You can find more info about Masquerading at http://ipmasq.cjb.net/
For ipchains, look at http://www.rustcorp.com/linux/ipchains/
To learn EVERYTHING there is about NAT, look at
http://www.csn.tu-chemnitz.de/~mha/linux-ip-nat/diplom/nat.html
There's also a IP Masquerading mini-HOWTO at
http://www.tor.shaw.wave.ca/~ambrose/ipmasq-HOWTO.html
Have fun!
