I haven't been able to find any good resources on the web that could help
me with this, maybe you all could help. (Or point me in the right
direction to a web site). I am trying to set up sendmail so that mail sent
to other people internally will be sent internally (easy, huh!). However,
mail sent to an address outside of the company needs to be routed to
another server. Basically, we will have POP3 and SMTP accounts set up on
another server for those who need an outside internet address. Internally,
everyone needs to have their own address. If at all possible I would like
to have it set up so e-mail sent to a user without a FQDN will be sent
internally or rejected, and mail with a FQDN will be routed to the outside
server. So if John Doe sends mail to "janedoe", it will be sent to Jane
within the company. However, if John Doe sends mail to
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" it needs to be sent using SMTP. Any suggestions?
Pretend I'm a computer nut, but a linux idiot (which I am). Thanks in
advance.
