The model number isn't very useful.  What *chip* does it use?
Are you using the ne2k-pci driver? (Rather than 'ne' driver.)
All NE2000 clones should work fine.

BTW, all PCI cards are "PnP", but in a good way.
It's ISA-PnP that has a bad reputation.
