Yeah, you're right there.  Force of habit, since I've been working a lot
on PF_PACKET sockets.  heh heh.

Tuan: Take Alan's advice.  Use 

        socket = socket(PF_INET, SOCK_DGRAM, IPPROTO_UDP);
