That message indicates the Tulip is switching modes, typically to full
duplex. It's a new message, and has been moved to a lower debug level.

The old version of the driver worked only with old cards. The updated
versions work with the following additional card types:
   The new 21143-TD chip.
21143 cards using SYM transceivers (corrected autonegotiate mode).
21143 cards that require specific general-purpose-pin settings,
PNIC cards with certain kinds of transceiver
   PNIC-II cards
   ADMtek Comet
   STmicro ST10/100
   ASIX AX88140
   Compex 9881
   Macronix '713, '715, '725

Remember, the orginal Tulip chips, the 21040 and 21140, are no longer being
produced. Almost every new-production Tulip-like board requires some change
in the updated driver.
