Hi,

I am running Samba-2.0.3 on Linux kernel 2.2.2 and I have a weird problem.
My smb.conf file looks like this:

>-------SNIP-------<

# Samba config file created using SWAT
# from WIN95WS9.GMAGROUP (192.168.0.19)
# Date: 1999/03/23 17:47:18

# Global parameters
        workgroup = GMAGROUP
        server string = Modem Server
        encrypt passwords = Yes
        log file = /usr/local/samba/var/log.%m
        max log size = 50
        socket options = TCP_NODELAY
        dns proxy = No
        security = user
[homes]
        comment = Home Directories
        read only = No
        browseable = No

[printers]
        comment = All Printers
        path = /usr/spool/samba
        print ok = Yes
        browseable = No
[tmp]
        comment = Temporary file space
        path = /tmp
        read only = no
        public = yes

>-------SNIP-------<

The funny thing is: My users can see their home directories, but not the
tmp share. Does anybody know why this could be happening.
Any help would be appreciated.

TIA,
Juergen
