Also make sure your /tmp is r/w by the user/group the user is logged in
as. World writeable may be a bad thing, your call. If world writable,
then you man not need the 'write list'.
Last, make sure there is plenty of room on the partition in case
someone wants to dump a few megs/gigs on it! .. especially if /tmp is
on the / partition.
