I have FWTK installed on RH 5.0.......and I followed the Firewall-HOWTO
to a "T"......I have IP- filtering on etc.....
The problem I'm having is that ...I want the proxying part
of it to work before I'm concerned about the security issues.
The firewall is able to browse the internet...so everything
from the firewall==> Router ==>ISP seems to be OK. I've used the
same settings for the DNS on the Test machine that I've used on the
firewall....I told the test machine that the gateway it should use is the
ip address of the internal network card(to the LAN side) of the
firewall.....
>From the test machine I can ping the ISP's DNS and the ip address of the
outer network card of the firewall....
I am able to browse the ISP's web page URL from the test machine but if I
try to browse any other URL this is the error I get....
